Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Ratings

Tablets, in general, have different use cases; some people use them just for social media, some to write, some to watch movies, and some are listening to the radio. There is no tablet that fits all users, so let’s split Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 up by categories and see how good it is.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 For Movies

When it comes to watching movies on a tablet, key factors to consider include screen size, screen quality, battery life, speakers, and the operating system. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 offers a good screen size and decent battery life, but it falls short in terms of speaker quality and screen resolution. While it’s a decent option for casual movie watching, it doesn’t quite excel in delivering an exceptional cinematic experience as some premium tablets. If this is your main purpose, it’s worth looking into the best tablets for movies, that have excellent screens and speakers.

6/10

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 For Note-Taking

When buying a tablet for note-taking, key factors to consider include stylus support, screen size, display resolution, battery life, and operating systems for note-taking apps. A high-quality stylus with features like pressure sensitivity and palm rejection is essential for a natural writing experience. Unfortunately, Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 doesn’t support an active stylus, but you can use a passive stylus, which imitates fingers touch. As well as you can take notes with an on-screen keyboard or Bluetooth keyboard. Hence the 4/10

4/10

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 For Web Surfing

When buying a tablet for web surfing, consider key factors such as screen size and resolution, battery life, and connectivity options. A larger screen with high resolution ensures a better viewing experience, making text and images clear and easy to read. Long battery life is essential for extended browsing sessions without needing frequent recharging.

Additionally, ensure the tablet has fast and reliable Wi-Fi+LTE connectivity for seamless internet access. A lightweight and portable design makes it convenient to use on the go. Some people actually prefer smaller size tablets, so for those Tab A9 might be the perfect choice.

9/10

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 For Drawing

When buying a tablet for drawing, key factors to consider include stylus support, screen quality, and performance. Look for a tablet that supports a high-quality stylus with features like pressure sensitivity and palm rejection for a natural and precise drawing experience. Popular options include the Apple Pencil, Samsung S Pen, and Wacom stylus.

Unfortunately, drawing with a passive stylus pen isn’t the best experience, but it might be something to do with kids.

2/10

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 For Gaming

When purchasing a tablet for gaming, key factors to consider include processing power, display quality, and ergonomic design. Look for a tablet with a powerful processor and sufficient RAM to handle demanding games smoothly without lag or stuttering. High-resolution displays with vibrant colors and fast refresh rates enhance the gaming experience, providing sharp visuals and smooth animations. It’s also important for tablets to have Bluetooth for controller connectivity.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 for gaming is decent. It can handle very well lightweight games like Candy Crush, sudoku, etc. But it can’t handle heavily, demanding apps like Asphalt, PUBG, or Fortnite.

6/10

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 For Reading

When buying a tablet for reading, key factors to consider include display quality, portability, and battery life. Opt for a tablet with a high-resolution display and a comfortable screen size, typically around 8 to 10 inches, to ensure text appears crisp and clear while minimizing eye strain.

Due to this Galaxy Tab A9 is a great option for someone that’s looking to read on their tablets.

10/10

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 For Video Calls

When purchasing a tablet for video calling, important factors to consider include camera quality, microphone performance, and connectivity options. Look for a tablet with high-resolution front-facing cameras and advanced camera features like autofocus and image stabilization to ensure clear and sharp video calls. Additionally, consider the quality of the microphone array and any noise-canceling features to ensure that your voice is transmitted clearly without background noise or distortion. It’s worth to buy earbuds/headphones if this is your main purpose for tablet.

Galaxy Tab A9 doesn’t have the best cameras, nor in the front nor in the back and the microphone could be better. You can do video-calls, but midway and premium tablets have much better quality.

5/10

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 For Photo/Video Editing

When buying a tablet for photo and video editing, key factors to consider include processing power, display quality, and storage capacity, as well as the operating system. Opt for a tablet with a powerful processor and ample RAM to handle resource-intensive editing software smoothly, ensuring quick rendering and responsive performance. High-resolution displays with accurate color reproduction and wide color gamuts are essential for accurately editing photos and videos.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 doesn’t fit the criteria to be good for this task. Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series would be much better fit for this purpose.
