Who Is It For & Use Cases

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus is a great high-end tablet for a mid-range price that could be great for Students, Professionals, Movie Enthusiasts, Creatives(Digitals Artists), Gamers, Photographers, Event Planners, Social Media Planners, Travelers, Business People, Seniors, Parents who seek educational and entertainment devices for children and just any tech enthusiast.

For all genders and all ages, there are apps and use cases for all of these users.

What Can You Do With It

The table has a big screen, good performance, and great audio, and it comes with a Stylus pen that gives it the potential to be used in so many different ways.

You can use it for web browsing, online shopping, watching movies and TV series, reading ebooks, studying, playing video games with a controller or without, taking notes with an S pen, drawing, creating art, listening to music, scanning documents, annotate documents, edit photos, edit videos, making video calls, manage smart gadgets, etc.

The tablet offers so much potential.

What you have to keep in mind is that it’s a big tablet and relatively heavy, so if you plan to read on the tablet, play video games or do any other activity that involves keeping the tablet in your hands – your hands might get tired over time, so it’s a good idea to get a case with the tablet, that allows to use the tablet on a stand.

Pros & Cons

Pros
  • Great cameras
  • Great battery life
  • Portable/Compact
  • Big vibrant display
  • Water & dust resistance
  • S Pen included in the price
Cons
  • No DeX mode
  • No headphone jack
  • Expensive accessories
  • The fingerprint sensor is very sensitive
  • LCD Display (Premium Samsung Tablets have OLED)

The biggest disappointment is the missing DeX mode. Dex mode is a feature on Samsung tablets that transforms the device into a desktop-like interface for enhanced productivity when connected to a keyboard and monitor.

You can still connect the tablet to the monitor and keyboard, but it just doesn’t have a DeX mode.

Both Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus are among the best Samsung tablets. They both are mid-range tablets, but the S9 FE is the big brother. With a bigger screen, more storage, and more RAM, it offers a bit better performance and better battery life.

If you ask me, it’s worth paying those extra $100 and getting the S9 FE Plus. That bigger display will allow you to enjoy videos, movies, and games much better, but most importantly, you will have to charge it less, and that’s worth the extra investment, in my opinion.

Alternatives

If you are searching for a new tablet, it’s also a good idea to consider some alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus, so you have no doubts that you made the right call.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus is a great alternative to Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus, if you don’t need the S Pen and don’t want to pay the premium price. It won’t be compatible with the Stylus pen, it will have smaller screen, it won’t have as much storage, but it will be two times cheaper than the S9 FE Plus. You can get it for $249.

iPad Air 5 is a good alternative to Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE Plus if you want to be part of Apple’s ecosystem instead of Android. iPad Air Costs $599, the same price range as S9 FE Plus, but Apple doesn’t include a Stylus pen in the price as Samsung does.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus is a Samsung Premium Tablet. If you want DeX mode, better performance, AMOLED display, 120Hz refresh rate, and vibrant colors, you can’t do better than S9 Plus.
